Laser module stopped working after 2 hours runtime

The infrared laser module just stopped working after less than 2 hours runtime. The diode laser works fine, but when trying to start the machine with the IR laser connected there is just a blue blinking light from the main board. Before anyone asks, yes, I am using the new power supply on the IR laser.
Pretty bummed out that something of that price fails after such short time.
