6 Years

Six years ago, xTool started with one belief: better tools could inspire more ideas and bring them to life.

Since then, every project created, every piece of feedback shared, and every maker we've met has shaped the way we build, innovate, and grow.

Today, xTool has grown beyond machines into a connected world of tools, software, inspiration, and local communities. We started from makers, we keep building for makers, and what comes next will be made together.

It's You. Show what xTool Has Made Possible.

We have been part of countless first projects, proud moments, and growing dreams. See real stories that made our journey possible.

“I had never thought of myself as a creative person before. I found a part of me that I didn't know existed. And I'm a maker now.”

Stroke Ended His Nursing Career Laser Crafting Built His Business, Creativity and Community.

A sudden stroke ended Eric’s nursing career, leaving him lost during recovery. He turned to xTool lasers as a creative outlet, starting with simple nurse accessory crafts. The small hobby grew into a steady six-figure family garage business. It unlocked his hidden creativity, turned his family into makers, and let him give back as a demo host empowering more people in the maker community.

I Quit My Government Engineering Job to Start a Custom Wedding Business From Home.

My name is Michelle Arguedas. I'm 35 and I run Vera Noire, a custom wedding and event decor business. I design and produce everything — welcome signs, seating charts, table numbers, personalized guest favors — right from my living room, using my xTool P2S laser cutter.

Not long ago, I was a mechanical engineer working for the U.S. government. Today, I make sales every single day and have complete control over my time, my income, and my future.

But my story doesn't start there. It starts somewhere much harder.

When She Couldn't Stand, She Sat Down and Built a Business

When I realized I couldn't feel my legs anymore, I was really scared because I have four kids. How was I going to support four kids if I can't even stand?

Meet Carrissa, a 33-year-old mom of four. In 2020, a car accident caused severe nerve damage, leaving her unable to stand or work her physical full-time job. Refusing to give up, she started crafting with an xTool D1 in her basement. The humble hobby quickly took off, hitting $14,000 in sales in her first quarter. Upgrading to xTool P2 helped her fully support her family through their hardest days, keeping their life stable amid crisis.

A Laser Engraver Pulled Me Out of the Darkest Time of My Life.

I never thought of myself as a creative person. My whole life has been tech — computer science, robotics, PLCs, electronics. All the geek stuff. The idea that a little laser engraver would be the thing that pulled me out of the worst period of my life? I never saw that coming.
